Account Information

When creating an account, ColX24 stores the following information:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

These details are stored for as long as you maintain an active account on the platform.

Seller Identity Verification

Identity verification is only required for users who want to sell items or use protected trading features.

✓ Buyers who only purchase products do not need to complete identity verification.
Verification Process

During identity verification, sellers are asked to provide:

  • Government ID number
  • Photo of the front of their government ID
  • Selfie while holding the front of their ID

These documents are reviewed manually by the ColX24 team to verify that the identity matches the account holder.

Document Retention & Deletion

Once verification has been successfully completed:

  • The uploaded ID photo is permanently deleted.
  • The uploaded selfie is permanently deleted.

These images are only used during the verification process and are never retained after verification has been completed.
